At V.A.S.E Academy, we have a holistic inclusive curriculum which encapsulates our core and enhanced curriculum, providing a high quality education and experiences for our pupils that is hard to match, anywhere.

Our qualified, trained and experienced outbound education team deliver our offer of animal care, outbound adventure and the environment and gardening projects. This aspect of the curriculum has been designed and developed by staff with a view to making a positive impact on our pupils learning experiences, making it more effective and exciting by taking it out the classroom and into the outdoors.

Connecting our learners with the outdoors and creating opportunities for pupils to work with animals takes pupils out of their comfort zones, provides stimulating challenges, helps break barriers to learning , promotes working togetherness, helps to overcome personal anxieties, builds confidence, raises self esteem and improves behaviour and relationships.
